draw homestuck charcters? :333333
Okay! :D It’s Tumblr’s favorite webcomic, apparently, so why not jump on the bandwagon of fanart?
I’ve been reading Homestuck since before this ask, but I’m still way way way way behind in the archives, so I haven’t even gotten to most of the characters, but so far my favorite is Jade Harley. So, tada, Jade fan art! I have more that I’ll be posting later, after lining and coloring and whatnot.
Don’t worry, I’ll try not to flood the blog with Homestuck junk. Although the characters in it are pretty fun to draw.
EDIT: Oh dang I forgot the strings on her fingers. Crap.
Concept art for my webcomic, Angelfish. I’m completely rewriting the story, so much so that after the first chapter it hardly even looks like the same comic. I’m redesigning the characters and setting as well. I’m working on the script for Script Frenzy this month and I hope to relaunch the webcomic by the end of this year.
Script Frenzy has started and life is getting busy! I’m working on writing and concept art for my webcomic Angelfish. I’ll be posting some of that soon.
But for right now, here’s a Draw Something doodle. :) If anyone wants to play Draw Something with me, my username is Fuyuki. (yes, with the period - the name was taken!).

Draw Drill: Draw the first object at your left as a superhero.

The item I saw was… a bottle of Smart Water.
Well, I finally decided to just upload this as-is. I wanted to color it, but I just could not color it to my own satisfaction, and I kind of abandoned it for now. I still like this idea, and I’ll redraw it later. But this particular drawing I’m just gonna call “done”.
Decided to draw something a little different. Doing more figure drawing has really helped me get a better grasp on anatomy, and how to exaggerate and “cartoonify” things. I feel like I’m slowly, slowly getting better…
My attempt at this week’s Weekly Art Challenge, which was to use one of two limited palettes. I don’t usually work with a limited palette like that, so it was a fun exercise. I also challenged myself to not use solid line art like I always do. Plus I used another thing I rarely use - gradients. Lots of gradients here. Not sure if that’s good or bad… hmm…
Sketch of the main character of the MV “One of Repetition” - not my character, I just liked the design.
Trying drawing a face a bit differently, less cartoony. Also, another puffy coat and scarf. I love drawing winter clothes.
First post of 2012! First of many more than I made in 2011, I hope.
Anyway, I’ve been playing around with my trial of Painter 12. I’ve also been listening to the new Korean vocaloid SeeU a lot. Combine the two and you get this little doodle. :D
I do really like Painter 12, but it’s not quite a Photoshop replacement - I had to resize this drawing in Photoshop because Painter made it blurry, for some reason. For editing and whatnot, you’ve gotta import it to PS or something similar. Kind of annoying, but Painter is still really fun and I’m enjoying the line quality I can get with it as well as the realistic media.
